The event included live demonstrations and interviews about how to make radio, how to make a terrarium and how to make bacon. In between, the evening's guests visited the Recording Room to share their own DIY projects and ideas. An Evening of DIY successfully kicked off a campaign to raise money for new hour-long, radio-ready episodes of Destination DIY in 2010.
